Snow is probably one of the most beautiful natural phenomena. It’s alluring- it’s enigmatic and it really brings on such sheer feelings of immense allure. Pakistan definitely provides some of the best places for you to enjoy the beauty of white. Murree is one of the leading and most popular tourist spots in the region. It is completely breathtaking and allows you to enjoy the beauty in all its glory! Malam Jabba is yet another amazing spot for you to marvel at. You will be amazed by the kind of skiing options you can enjoy. But aside from this, there are several other fascinating places around the world you can enjoy the scenic cover of pure white. While some may enjoy it with a hot cup of coffee, while others prefer to embrace the icy breeze through long drives, winters are definitely heavenly and these are the top spots in the world to make the most of this beauty of nature:

Alyeska, Alaska

Way up north in the state of Alaska, snow falls in huge amounts each and every winter. The town of Alyeska usually gets between 42 to 53 feet of snow each year and is near the larger city of Anchorage. Other than the ski resort, a great place to experience Alyeska’s snow is at Chugach State Park. Another very snowy place in Alaska is the town of Valdez, which gets around 27 feet of snow each year and is also home to great ski resorts.

Nagano, Japan

Nagano is best known as the former host of the 1998 Winter Olympics, and for its temples and snow monkeys. The Nagano region is home to more than 85 ski resorts, plus five Olympic venues in Nagano city. The main draw might just be the famous Japanese macaque snow monkeys, who enjoy a good onsen soak as much as the next guy. You’re most likely to find the wild troop in winter, and only at Jigokudani Monkey Park hot springs.

Patagonia, Argentina

Patagonia is situated in the southern part of South America, at the foothills of Andes Mountains, and is home to jagged peaks, pristine rivers, and dusty backwaters. Perito Moreno Glacier falls under the most accessible and dynamic ice field. It is a natural masterpiece, which is 30km long, 5 km wide and 60m wide, along with being a thing of beauty and being safe as well.

Gstaad, Switzerland

This not-so-famous town is located in the Bernese Oberland region of Swiss Alps. This city is a popular tourist destination for many celebrities across the world. It is a very well-known place for snowboard riders as 200kms of pistes, at 3000m above sea level, await you during winter. There are other options available as well like glacier and heli-skiing.

Prague, Czech Republic

T he winter experience in Prague is completely mesmerizing! Winter in Prague lasts from mid-November to mid-March. It is an easy-going place and even though the mountains might not be as good as Switzerland or Austria, Prague offers you an easy way out to rent the equipment necessary for skiing and mountain climbing.

Kashmir, India

The widespread snowy cover, dark wood trees, frozen lakes, and snow-clad peaks in Kashmir make for the perfect snowy getaway in the neighboring country.

Hallstatt, Austria

One of the most beautiful villages in the world, Hallstatt looks enchanting during the winter with its still lake and snow-covered mountains in the backdrop
